We all know that "bread" or "bread crumbs" are part of the essential ingredients used in traditional meatloaf recipes, which helps bind the loaf together and contributes to it's moisture. Therefore, one of the first things we must do on a low-carb, keto friendly diet, is to replace the bread content with a substitute that will also collaborate well with the eggs to provide that same bonding power without drying out the loaf. Many keto and low-carb recipes turn to "pork rinds", which clock in at ZERO NET CARBS. When pork rinds are crushed, they provide the same texture as the Italian style breadcrumbs, which makes it a great alternative.


However, I've decided to go with Keto-friendly bread, which also clocks in at ZERO NET CARBS. The secret to preserving the loaf's moisture is to soak the break in Unsweetened Almond Milk. Indeed, I am very pleased with the consistency and moistness.
